Biography
Jennifer Parker is a dedicated trial attorney who represents individuals and families whose lives have been changed by serious injuries. She believes every client deserves an advocate who listens, prepares relentlessly, and is willing to stand up to insurance companies and large corporations when they refuse to do what’s right.
Ms. Parker earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and holds a Master of Humanities with a concentration in Women’s Studies from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. She is also a certified mediator through South Texas College of Law. During law school, she served as Associate Editor of the Texas Journal of Business Law and was an active member of both Delta Theta Phi and the STCL Women’s Law Society.
Before focusing on personal injury litigation, Ms. Parker worked in a family law clinic representing indigent clients in divorce and child custody matters. That experience was instructive. It formed the foundation for her compassionate advocacy and taught her that while legal challenges often start at the individual level, they often impact entire families.
Her commitment to justice extends beyond the courtroom. Throughout graduate school, Ms. Parker researched and wrote extensively on social justice, philosophy, film, and the humanities. She was selected to present at the University of Houston Humanities Conference, where she authored and presented Perception and the Law: What We See, What We Don’t See, and What We Should See, examining how perspective influences fairness within the legal system.
Today, she applies that same thoughtful approach to every personal injury case she handles. Whether representing someone injured in a serious accident or helping a family navigate the aftermath of a catastrophic loss, Ms. Parker understands that successful representation requires empathy, preparation, and determination as well as extensive legal knowledge.
Originally from Texarkana, Texas, Ms. Parker relocated to Houston in 2006 and has proudly called the city home ever since. Outside the office, she enjoys Houston’s live music, festivals, and professional sports, particularly cheering on the Astros and Rockets. She also enjoys cooking, writing fiction, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her pit bull, Harlowe. Ms. Parker is the proud mother of three adult daughters who are pursuing careers of their own.
